Word to the wise--cows do not like their ears touched. Elliott touched her ear and I thought she was going to bite his head off. Scary!
Well we're checking things off our to do list and we can check off visiting Purina Farms. It was such a beautiful day and so fun for us! They had a children's play area with tunnels, toy tractors to push in dried corn and toy tractors to ride. They had dogs, cats, cows, sheep, pigs, rabbits, and chickens to pet. Then we went to a dog show where several different rescued dogs did lots of neat tricks including running off a platform, jumping, and catching a frisbee in the air before diving into the swimming pool. So fun. And it had something in common with all my other favorite things to do in St. Louis: it was FREE. LOVE this town!
