My cousin linked this article from the Wall Street Journal about a book, "Bringing Up Bebe" by Pamela Druckerman coming out this week. I am SO requesting this as soon as it hits my library's shelves.
The idea that different cultures have different parenting philosophies is very interesting to me and some of the things the article mentions really hit home with me; how the French handle their children interrupting their parents' conversations, how they handle snacks, eating at mealtimes, how the everyday routine is a lesson in delaying gratification.....very interesting!

"All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players: They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts" ...and in the wings of my stage, there is music.
