2012 Staycation, Fun Around Town!

Taking advantage of no committments, no routines, and cooler temperatures than Texas, we've been having lots of fun!

Catching up with North Carolina friends!

Lily having fun (?) at Mommy and Me class
with Juliann at the Bird Show,
Hogle Zoo got a polar bear!

Peace!  At Daddy's music of Michael Jackson concert
 bedtime stories with Juliann
 hula hoop attempts
Elliott at summer soccer skills class
Lily having slightly more fun at Mommy and Me class, "Tap your sticks to the right with a 1, 2, 3"
All dressed up for Pioneer Day
First 64 pg book to read on his own!
3 moms (not pictured) who were friends, growing up in Texas 14 years ago, produced 6 girls and 1 boy and then had a play date at Temple Square, 14 years later

 City Creek bridge
Lily at Daddy's Disney music concert, Elliott sneaking oreos off someone else's blanket.
Hiking 1.5 mi steeply up Mt. Timpanogos

 Awesome hour long Cave tour!
Can you spot the cave bacon?
The "heart" of Timpanogos weighs 4 thousand pounds and is 5 1/2 feet tall.
Yeah, I showed that mountain who was boss, even if I did refuse to get out of my jammy shirt this morning.
Elliott's red ear after being stung by a wasp on the way down the mountain.  The wasp was most likely attracted to his orange night shirt, which he also insisted on wearing on the hike.

Oh my goodness, look at Lily's hair! What a blondie! I totally thought it would come in brown. Totally off topic comment, I know. As for your post...looks like you've had a lot of fun this summer. Travelling is fun, but sometimes it's just great to do fun things at home.

"All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players: They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts" ...and in the wings of my stage, there is music.
