Elliott now goes to preschool for 2 days a week, 4 hours each day. His favorite things are playing on the playground and getting to bring his snack and lunch in his Iron Man lunchbox. Preschool is great! "Or, we can just call it 'school' " he is quick to say. He is learning the Pledge of Allegiance and can already bust out a mean "Where is Thumbkin?" Elliott is a much happier boy with preschool in his life. Mom and Dad wish they could be a fly on the wall to see what he's like in class.
2 Preschool funnies:
On the first day a girl tried to kiss him but then burped in his mouth, allegedly.
One night Elliott and I were reading a book about the history of musical instruments (i know, I know, poor kid, the son of 2 musicians). Elliott got a big kick out of the fact that a trombone used to be called a sackbut. "A sackbut!" yes, indeed a pretty funny word for a 4 year old's vocabulary. A couple days later he informed me that Mrs. S did not appreciate him using that word in the classroom.

Whoo! Congrats to Elliot! And I could just imagine him saying "sackbut" and a teacher not understanding and putting a stop to it - hahaha.
