The other day I was talking with a friend about rich people. We each know someone really wealthy and were marveling at what their lives must be like. Then my friend said, "But you know, why would you want to be really rich? So you can do whatever you want, right? Well I mostly already do whatever I want, I stay home and raise my baby. If I were rich, I'd just be doing the same thing in a bigger house."
The more I thought about it, the more I think she's right. So many rich people became rich by working A LOT. Their freedom, how they spent their time, was taken away by their job. How I spend my time, raising my kids, being a homemaker, is my choice. And raising my little beauties is the most enriching experience imaginable. I'm already rich.
