The Wright Brothers' first flight was in Dec. 1903. It blows my mind that just 66 years later man was on the moon. The most interesting thing I learned was that the man who took the famous picture that day of their plane in the air, had never taken a picture before in his life. He had never even seen a camera before. Wilbur taught him how to use it and told him to take a picture if anything interesting happened. The man took the picture that some consider the most important aviation photo ever taken and never took another photo again in his life. In case you never make it to see the Memorial, consider this your little tour.
